is it "cheating" to play "Big play moments" in franchise?

I have a good team I've assembled by year 3 but playing games constantly I just get fatigued and am not as great.

But with "play the moments" I usually get the ball in the red-zone, or on 3rd down and short (occasional 3rd and long) and 3rd down stops on defense.

Is it cheating to play this?

Nope. Not at all. It's your franchise. I do play the moments during the playoffs since I can see how my team performs when I'm not controlling them.
