Sean Connery (1930-2020)

RIP Sir Sean Connery. My whole family loved him, watched Goldfinger and many other Bond films he was in.

Loved him in The Rock as well and many other movies he's been in. 2020 takes another legend.

Re: Sean Connery (1930-2020)

I was always more a Roger Moore guy, but if Connery hadn't been excellent from the first Bond film, we probably would have never gotten a Moore Bond, or a Daniel Craig Bond for that matter

R.I.P. Mr. Connery

Re: Sean Connery (1930-2020)

I think every movie o have watched him in has been excellent. He will always have a voice that is recognizable. I was reminded of a movie today that has him in it and will definitely have to rewatch: Finding Forrester. I remember that being such a great movie and will have to try and watch that again.

Nah. Roger Moore was The Saint not James Bond. I think Craig is closer to what Fleming had in mind but Connery was the ****.

A legend for sure. My favorite Bond, A Bridge to Far, The Rock, Finding Forester. So many fantastic performances.

Re: Sean Connery (1930-2020)

Have never actually seen any of the James Bond films he was in, but The Rock, The Untouchables, and The Last Crusade? Yeah, he stole the scenes in all of those. RIP.
