I've been a Madden fan since Madden 92, and this is very underwhelming. I knew to keep my expectations low, but WOW did this video not impress me. Looks the same as previous Maddens, such as the animations & graphics. I'm tired of all of these buzz words, only for the gameplay to look the same.

"Welcome to the most realistic NFL simulation ever"....How can they say this but there STILL isn't refs on the field???

It's 2020 and Adam Thielen is running like 3 Mafia men hit him in the knees with hammers..WTF lol... (33 second mark of video).

We're in 2020, and the back of the box feature is "Next Gen Play Calling". You've got to be kidding me!!!

This is the part that gets me in the blog..

"Leveraging the power of NFL Next Gen Stats, Next Gen Player Movement is fueled by real athlete-data, route paths, and acceleration rates, allowing the next generation of Madden NFL to deliver the most realistic, authentic, and fluid player movement in franchise history. You can't be serious!! How in the heck is "Next Gen Player Movement" improved by real athlete data ? Where is this data actually coming from and how does that take precedence over actually programming animation better via another engine other than frostbite?

It's early, but I kinda likes the movement. I wanna see it in game though. Give me a quarter at least to look at.

If people are watching the twitch stream... the comparison of route running from current to next gen is crazy. Graphics look the same, but these could be massive gameplay changes.

I'm gonna feel like a real idiot when I plunk down the money for a ps5 hoping Next Gen Madden will have some of the features I've been hoping for for years only to be disappointed again. :/

are there QB movement improve better on next gen ?? i missed it.. how good is defense coverage ? defense coverage were bad on current gen
