2K21 (PC) 50%off - worth getting?

So there is a sale on gamersgate, where 2K21 (PC, so last Gen version) is 50% off.
Impressions have been hit and miss.

Is it worth upgrading considering it down to 30 bucks?

Assuming that 2k fixes the issues with PnR in the next patch, I think its worth it. Alot of the 2k20 mods still work with 2k21 too.

I liked 2k20 more, tbh. Gameplay got really worse. Especially as most defensive settings are not working as intended anymore and AI teammates are as stupid as they've ever been. Inside defense is a mess and in our online league we have both all time highs on offensive ratings and all time lows on defensive ratings...

Thanks for the feedback. I was eyeing it as well, but preferred to get the next gen version. I have pretty much given up hope on getting an new system, so this helps me just wait until next year.

Oddly enough, I would tell you to skip current gen NBA 2K21. The whole new shot mechanics is hard to master.

I heard that! It was either next gen, or nothing for me even at 50% off.

Chase summed it up in one of his articles. 2k21 current gen(PC included) just isnt fun. Everything is a chore. I was a big believer in shot aiming but its implementation ruins even the little bit of enjoyment that could have been.

If you take shot aiming out of the equation, there isnt really anything "new" in 2k21 that wasnt done massively better in 20.

Mods on PC is such a great thing. I love making them and I love using them but 2k21 is so unfun that I abandoned the modding community this year because they couldnt even save the game.

If you cant go next gen I'd definitely say stick with 2k20. I personally dont think 2k21 is worth it at half price.
