DROPS and INTs!

Playing default all-pro franchise on simulation and the drops are driving me nuts. It also seems like there's a BIG penalty for using the precision passing control on a receiver that isn't wide open?

I know they patched drops but I'm still experiencing a ton of them and I'm playing as the Panthers throwing as Bridgewater who has pretty decent accuracy ratings throwing mostly short/medium passes to guys like DJ Moore, Curtis Samuel and Robbie Anderson.

What am I doing wrong???

Be very careful doing this. I upped catching by five, and through 3 games none of my receivers have dropped a single ball.

With the patch, I noticed a few new catching animations where its a guaranteed catch, and some of the guaranteed drop animations offer a small window now on making the catch.

Its a slippery slope, they say its ratings based when its clearly not. Too many times did I have rookie, high 60's DB's drapped all over my elite receivers.

Yeah WRs drops more than the DBs

I will have to look into this. I play on All Madden and admittedly, i have the AI catch like on 38. This is the only way that I can offset the AI QB having a 75% completion percentage.

As far as human catch goes, again, I have to look at my settings. I'm pretty sure I do not have it any higher than 50

this patch has made the game ridiculous in a couple ways:


the DBs have better hands than the WRs. INT are stupid. Way too juiced.


If the CPU or User goes into no-huddle, and you quickly pick a man coverage. The assignments are all scrambled.


I'm hoping this gets fixed. They've done a great job on the running dynamics. Trying to average 5 ypc is quite a feat
