I will madden 22 if it’s first person football. I’ve had enough of these “perfect timing user interceptions” going against me.

No wonder it’s perfect timing... if he can user defender AND watch the QB at the same time AND clicks on and go for the INT, it’s like playing 11 defenders with eyes in the back of their heads.

Until Madden is first person football, there are always going to be an unrealistic number of interceptions when playing online.

It’s also why 90% of NFL playbooks don’t work in Madden... most routes don’t work against a guy with eyes in the back of his head

I will buy Madden 22 if blocking logic is fixed, pass coverage is fixed, LB’s actually pursue and clog holes rather than stand still and let themselves be blocked, and OL/DL positioning isn’t based on shifting/warping or animation triggering.

I’d honestly be surprised if one or two of these happened.

They overhaul their collision detection system mainly for post play.

No more players stepping through bodies on the ground after tackles, clipping through bodies, etc. This has to go for Next Gen. Player physics & collision detection needs to kick in at all times meaning after the play is blown dead as well, not just during a play. This was done in Madden 16 so it's not like they can't do it.

The game has a lot of potential but it means nothing if the game lacks polish...

There are meaningful changes to franchise mode that fundamentally change the way I play that mode for the better...

...If it makes the leap that Madden 15 did from M25. Graphics and gameplay are the biggest areas that need improvement. M21 next gen graphics just aren't what they should be and Xbox Series X has insane frame drops. It's just a wreck right now. M25 next gen wasn't good either, but Madden 15 was sick. If they accomplish that leap again I'll be in.



I expect nothing from CFM, and I don't know why anyone would at this point honestly. They've proven they still don't care about the mode with how drawn out these minimal improvements are this year. Not a chance the mode is anything like what we expect or desire by M22.

Franchise mode makes a substantial improvement. Franchise mode needs to be the selling point of 22. Most resources need to go there as every other mode has been given plenty of love while franchise mode has been left to rot.

This totally. This is my first year NOT supporting Madden because I’m primarily a franchise guy and honestly what’s the point anymore? Like many, football is my favorite sport and also like many, I’m giving those dollars to NBA2k to scratch that itch because despite me supporting madden since its 16 bit days, Madden has decided not to support me or consumers like me.

They have lineup/depth chart previews at the beginning of the game.

Seriously, who makes a sports game and says "oh we'll just highlight one player (the QB) out of 22 starters and 53 rostered players each game? They used to have the bare minimum when they just showed the DL/LB/CB/S's crossing their arms in Madden 18, then 19-20 they did the weird air guitar thing, and now it's just gone...
