Schnaidt1's Madden 21 Next Gen Sliders

Whats up everyone!! I'm back for Next Gen Madden 21. This game is definitely different than its current gen sibling. The player movement and qb play are the 2 things that really stand out. I was able to import most of my settings from current gen but changes were needed. all in all this plays a really great game of football on the field. Franchise mode still leaves a lot to be desired though. Anyway, lets get into the good stuff!!

*1 quick side note*
-These are not 100% set in stone as everyone's skill level is different. Making small changes here and there to cater to your skill level is perfectly fine.


You will also need to pair these up with qb edits for the Cpu! This video will explain how.

HOUSE RULES

1. no user catching on offense or defense.

2. No Run/pass Commit

3. This 1 is crucial, don't abuse the CPU. if you know certain plays are money, don't call them all the time and say the game is too easy. play realistically


4. Do not aim the kick meter on field goals. Because I play on pro, kicking is super easy. To add a challenge, leave the kick meter aimed exactly as is, and get the football to go right or left by either timing it too early or too late. This alone makes kicking field goals much more challenging and fun.

Next, lets head over to to Visual feedback, under the "on field" section, set everything to off with the exception of:
- franchise ticker
- player names
- pre snap menu

- Turn camera toggle off, passing camera off
- Offensive camera = ZOOM
- Defensive camera = Standard.

- We want a good on-field audio experience. so head over to volume control and set the following. (in game commentary is personal preference )

Master volume- 100
in-game commentary- 0
stadium speakers- 100
crowd volume- 90
on field- 60
menu music- 30
menu sfx- 100

Auto Subs:

pure default here, everyone is 80/60

Main Menu Sliders:

Set all USER and CPU sliders to 0 EXCEPT for special teams.

Turn off Ineligible man downfield

Do players still get low on energy with 0 fatigue? Also, has the fatigue setting effected line play?

Side note: I’ve extensively tested CPU defensive sliders because cross routes & the middle of the field are soft. So far I’ve discovered lowering the speed to 5 drastically tightened up coverage.

0 fatigue is only at main menu, it's 70 inside franchise.

I tinkered with speed parity but ultimately went back to default for now. If/when ea addresses zone coverage, then i might revisit it...but not until then

Thanks for clarifying. Just tested these out & they seem really nice...so nice I’m restarting my franchise lol.

Two quick questions.
1. In regards to not committing to the run or pass, are you referring to audibles or calling a run blitz for example in the play select?

2. Should this be online or offline franchise?

1. Neither, you can do both freely, i meant the option to commit to run or pass. It's honestly a carry over from my current gen sliders...i never used it so i never bothered to look if it's in next gen. But its when you are on defense you can call an audible and then commit to run or pass.

2. Either, i used to be against online but they play really well online next gen. Infact my franchise is online and i did the start whatever week you want.

Btw...holy ****, these sliders are great! Most fun in madden I’ve had in a very long time.

These sliders, along with qb edits, & in house rules are magic.

I’m two games into my franchise & it feels great.

What qb edits are you doing?? Next gen, imo... Doesn't need any qb edits.
