Upgrade to Ps5

Anyone know when the free upgrade ends or could I go buy the PS4 version on sale and still get the ps5 version for free

You can upgrade up until the release of Fifa 22. Yes you can buy any the of PS4 versions & get the free upgrade to PS5 version. I'd wait for a sale as most likely it'll appear again. I recently bought it on sale on the PSN store so look around Christmas when boxing day & week sales will start to appear. "Entitle for FIFA 21 on PS4™ before the release of FIFA 22, and upgrade to FIFA 21 PS5™ for free*. All progress you make and content you acquire in FIFA Ultimate Team™ and VOLTA FOOTBALL will carry over."

Fifa 21 is on sale on the PSN store starting today. I'm in Canada so my sale prices are higher than some other regions like the US. Check your store for your pricing.

I just got my PS5 today. I have it set up.

Do I have to buy FIFA on my PS4 first, or can I buy the PS4 version on my PS5 and get the free upgrade?

You can buy it on PS5 as well & you'll get both the PS5 & PS4 versions. The NXT LVL Edition though is only PS5 all other editions have both versions included. You then can download the PS5 version. Hope that helps.

Haven't seen any updates all December long on PS4
