Input delay Fight now vs custom fight now

I would be curious to know if anyone else is experiencing this. For some reason I am experiencing a ton of input delay or my inputs getting outright dropped in custom fight now as opposed to regular fight now. I was testing this last night and in regular fight now my inputs felt way more crisp and responsive. Then when I switched over to custom fight now I was experiencing a ton of input delay or my inputs being dropped all together.

I am using a brand new controller, and I am well aware this could just be placebo. Would be interested to know if anyone else maybe notices this?

The game does play way better on custom fight now though for some reason. Clay guida of all people gave me a hell of a 3 round war last night

I play mostly custom fight now and it is great,i don't seem to find any difference with fight now to custom with input delays,i am on standard ps4 machine and Sony tv not using game mode with motionflow standard.

I would like to have custom settings in the offline modes tournaments and events

there has always been custom in event mode in UFC 4,just a couple of settings in fight now not available in event mode, go to advanced.
