So Disney is ending their exclusive deal with EA and letting other studios make games.

They're going to let Ubisoft make an open world Star Wars game.

As they should. There shouldn't be exclusives like that. Hampers creativity of so many other options. I'm curious to know what ever happened to that Indiana Jones game that was suppose to come out in the 2000s. Looking forward to what works we get now. Hopefully others look at this and take note. Still sore about the baseball and football exclusivity deals. Would have definitely had a different landscape of sorts games.......

I really want them to make an isometric RPG along the lines of the Divinity series or Pillars of Eternity. But in Star Wars universe.

That's what Bethesda is working on.

It's being made by Machine games and being executive produced by Todd Howard.

Re: LucasFilm Games

I'd love a Mass Effect type game but set in the Star Wars universe, except you can actually fly your ship.

It's funny you say that because I think Mass Effect actually used the engine that BioWare developed for Star Wars Knights of the Old Republic. I could be wrong that engine was developed for a previous title, but I remember playing the first Mass Effect way back when. and noticing how similar the look, feel, and some of the assets were too even.

Re: LucasFilm Games

Cautiously optimist for the Indiana Jones game. More curious than anything else really. Between the Lego game and the Uncharted series - not sure how this would fit in.

An open-world game made by Ubisoft set in the Star Wars universe makes me groan more than anything else.
