Yeah it's kind of greasy but it's really not a big deal, it has been willingly shared with the public and it's not like the "thief" is profiting off of doing it. They probably made some edits to ratings, the Brian Wilson one has a different beard style at least. When my CAPs get reposted by people I consider it a compliment. Imitation is the sincerest form of flattery, or something like that.

he's going around on social media claiming he made them from scratch, trying to gain clout and use others work as his own for "internet points", so there more to it than the normal tom foolery.

I go back and forth on that.

Yes, its public domain. But SO many of these tools don't even bother to change anything.

Ultimately, I do think this discourages people from sharing their work. And in the case of people like drsublime, that is a real shame.

I've completed a few Madden rosters I worked months on. I know said rosters are on at least 2 Discord sites, and I'm not credited for the work, and the site owners tout them as their own great rosters. The first time I saw this happen, a user ripped off the Madden PC communities entire HISTORY of work. If I hadn't called him on it repeatedly, he never would have credited them at all.

At least in that case, he did have to go to the work of using multiple tools, and populating Excel fields. These goons don't even bother to do that most of the time.
