Your Favorite Quentin Tarantino Film?

A unique director, Quentin Tarantino's film are unmistakable. Not one of my favorite, but you can always count on having a good time.

According to his (somewhat suspect) math he has made 9th films and will retire after his 10th. Let's see about that. So which one is your favorite?

Re: Your Favorite Quentin Tarantino Film?

I would personally rank them:
  1. Once Upon a Time... In Hollywood
  2. Inglourious Basterds
  3. Reservoir Dogs
  4. Pulp Fiction
  5. Jackie Brown
  6. Death Proof
  7. Kill Bill: Vol. 1
  8. Kill Bill: Vol. 2
  9. Django Unchained
  10. The Hateful Eight
Some notes: There are movies where he has "guest" directed in like Sin City and Four Rooms. Death Proof was part of a double feature alongside Robert Rodriguez's Planet Terror, called Grindhouse. Also, QT considers Kill Bill vol. 1 & 2 to be one movie.

Very consistent filmmaker for me, nearly always good, but not great. The only film of his I truly dislike is The Hateful Eight.

Re: Your Favorite Quentin Tarantino Film?

The only one I haven't seen is The Hateful Eight.

For me its between Pulp Fiction and Inglorious Basterds, but Jackie Brown is very close.

Pretty close to what I think. I think he is having a problem competing with his early work. Disappointed in Hollywood can't see what the big deal is really.

Pulp and Jackie Brown are excellent the rest average to very good.

Django and Reservoir Dogs and Inglorious B's just under those two.

Your Favorite Quentin Tarantino Film?

Inglorious Bastards
Reservoir Dogs
Kill Bill Vol 1
Django Unchained
Jackie Brown
Pulp Fiction
The Hateful Eight
Kill Bill Vol 2

I have not seen Once Upon A Time In Hollywood yet (but want to).

His top three for me on my list are unquestioned.

Pulp Fiction simply has not aged well at all where as Jackie Brown and Reservoir Dogs has.

I despised Kill Bill Vol 2 where as I loved Vol 1.

It is very hard to explain. But the dialog and the overall feel of the movie.

Don’t get me wrong. I still like the movie....but as the years have passed it does not have the same pizazz and charm it once did.

His other movies have aged a lot better. Especially Jackie Brown and Reservoir Dogs.
