Why Hall of fame so easy on Next Gen?

I remember the cpu use to keep me on my toes every possession on Hall of fame but now since I upgraded to ps5 I can play lazy defense and still blowout the CPU
If the Devs won't patch the Hall of fame Level is there any popular sliders you can gift ya boy?

Per Da_Czar, the AI no longer cheats.

Cheat, as in, reading and reacting your controller inputs and making pinpoint reads/reactions.

Sliders and shot timing windows are the only difference between difficulty settings.

I think the HOF cpu is at a good place. If you play the cpu straight up and avoid exploits they play a good game. I like the HOF cpu better this year over any other year.

Should I raise the CPU shot make consistency? They be bricking hard and go on big drouts the only time they make a run is the beginning on second half.

dude CPU is Horrible since last year!
in 2k20, i used to blowout CPU at least by 30 almost every year after i raised shot make to 60 for all ranges.
this year Next Gen CPU plays a lot better (i still need to raise all shot make for CPU to 60, but at least now I have a challenge).
