Question for coach mode players

I'm having trouble finding a quick hitting short yardage play where the running back doesn't try to bounce the play outside aside from fullback dive which frequently gets stuffed.

Does anybody have a suggestion for such a play?

Thanks

Any five, zone or inside split out of the gun usually works for me

Re: Question for coach mode players

I have a question for you about coach mode, why do you prefer it over NFL HC09?

The college aspect? No last gen console? Most people say they'd rather play HC09, but 14 people outta 50+ said they'd stick with Madden coach mode.

NFL Head Coach 09 had a "Play Steal" feature.

CPU teams stole your successful plays in your playbook and added them to their playbooks. That feature met with college playbooks from incoming college coaches and user created plays birthed a new meta evolution for playcallers across the NFL.

I prefer college football and basketball. I've never heard on HC09.

Regarding the NFL I realize this won't be understood by a lot of people but I'm a Vietnam veteran. I've seen men die for that flag the NFL disrespected. I refuse to play Madden.

NFL head coach 09 is a sim game where you don't control the players but control everything else. More depth than any other football game no doubt, and a engine built for sim.

Idk about all the flag stuff, NFL Head Coach is made by EA as well so idk if that'd prevent you from looking into it.

For me it was the constant freezing that killed it for me. I still play 06 from time to time

I enjoy them both, but 06 is a much better RPG. If you're on Reddit, join the sub.
