Believe it or not I met Tony Hawk once. He came to town unannounced to do an exhibition in a park where I jog daily. I saw the structure and was curious what it was. Jogged by a guy standing there and asked what it was.
Later that day on the radio they announced Tony Hawk was in town to do an exhibition. I searched Tony Hawk on the internet and the guy I jogged past was him. Seemed like a nice guy.
