Retro Plug and Play Emulator Style Consoles

Has anyone dabbled in getting one of these? If you have, are they worth it?

I've never seen one of these but, I'm sure there are better options for playing retro games. That cost seems high.

These things are worthless when these games can be obtained for free. But that's all I can say.

Re: Retro Plug and Play Emulator Style Consoles

I am curious how that company handles SD card corruptions. I have several Rasperry Pi at my house doing various things, one being retro gaming using Retropie. Also run a lab at school that has Pi's in it.

The SD Cards are known to corrupt if not properly shutdown. I always do and haven't had an issue but made a Retropie for one of my buddies and he kept just pulling the plug from the wall and boom, corrupted.

It is def a bit pricey but to make your own, without roms, you're looking at a $100 give or take. The extra $60 to save you the trouble of finding roms may be worth it. DEF BACK UP THAT SD CARD AS SOON AS YOU GET IT!!

Re: Retro Plug and Play Emulator Style Consoles

So I actually ended up buying one of these, only because I had a gift card on Amazon and didnt pay full price. It's legit. It works amazingly. Can use a wired XBox 360 controller with it. The only thing I havent tried yet is downloading and putting on it's SD card.
