MLB 21 How to Increase Team Budget in Franchise Mode?

So I’m using the Rangers in my franchise mode, and I’m abusing the AI, trading for all the big name players. But of course I didn’t think that far ahead and now my payroll is maxed out for the next 5 seasons 😂.
I know in years past you could use stubs to increase your budget, is that an option? Or will my budget increase as my team continues to have success?

Just wondering if anyone knows, I wanna know if I’ll be able to sign more players and resign my players lol

Adding sponsorships is the only way to increase your money in this year's game I believe. Of course on field performance is factored into how much your team makes as well but no more buying money via stubs.

I noticed if you sign free agents to your roster before starting the franchise it will increase your budget and you can trade those players once in the franchise to lose their salary hit while maintaining the increased budget. I think I got my royals budget up around 145 by signing osuna, puig, and a few other guys. Doesn’t help you know but may help someone else.

Interesting haha. But ya, it’s kind of annoying. At least I’ll have the god team for one season!

But quick question, if I force arbitration, then I still pay that contract right? Even if I don’t have the budget to “offer them a contract” if I force arbitration then can I go over my budget to pay that player?

Speaking of sponsorships I don't like to gain an unfair advantage over the cpu so I never used them.

If I do 30-team control but sim their games, do sponsorships I add play a factor into their budget?
