Man, what a game. Real knuckle buster near the end. I made a video, please take a few minutes and check it out.

Pitcher was my first rounder 2 seasons prior. Guys motion is smooth, and allows me to hit perfects near everytime.

Pitching difficulty is on Veteran+

I always think, there are perfect games...
and then there are perfect games, video game-wise:
27 strikeouts.
I've never thrown a perfect game, dont even think I've taken one past the 6th inning.

Prior to last year I too had never had a no hitter let alone a perfect game. I had come close to a no hitter once, except that on that occasion my pitcher surrendered a hit early in the game (but no run was scored) and was allowed to stay in the game to complete a one hit complete game shutout. A great accomplishment but still not a milestone moment.

But that all changed last year with my Padres RTTS pitcher who was in his 5th season at the MLB level when he not only threw a perfect game against the Marlins, but a few weeks later followed it up with a no hitter against (dang I forget who he threw it against ... D'Oh).

However 27 strike outs? That is just unheard of, at least at the MLB level. It might have happened in the real world in an amateur game, but I do not think it has ever happened in professional baseball (major or minor leagues)?

With all that said, does my perfect and no hitters in MLBTS really count since they were achieved in RTTS games? RTTS is a cool mode, but if you play with your players for a number of years, their skills get so high that they just dominate the competition. The stats my Padres pitcher (in his 6th season at the MLB level) are just well ... just like I was playing a video game.

PS: don't want to spoil anything here, but the color commentary when you are successful in achieving a perfect game are unlike any other game you will play in this series.
