Struggling to find a competition to take me to the release of PES 2022 I've finally landed on replaying the 1994 World Cup hosted by the United States.

A little background my first introduction to soccer was FIFA International on the Sega Genesis which would be the only soccer game I would play until almost 20 or so years. later.

So back to the present I was playing a random one off national team match between Columbia and Brazil and a flash of playing a video game over 25 years ago made me smile. I started hunting for an option file to recreate an older world cup. Luckily I came across the '94 World Cup option file by Barobox 85, PERFECT! Players and kits all recreated for that early 90's feeling.

I'll be taking control of all 24 clubs and using the same setup as Villabraves does...12 minutes, Top Player, Pass Level 1 and Basic throughballs. I'll upload highlights like I have for the African Cup of Nations and Copa Libertadores. I also have what I hope will be a pretty cool idea for the videos in mind as well.

TL DR
I'm going to (re)play every game of the '94 world cup and post the video when I'm underway. Hope everyone checks it out once I get going.

Sounds like a great project! Shame England didn’t qualify 🤦*♂️. We got absolutely ripped off in the final qualifying game in Holland. Var would have been all over it today!

Looking forward to seeing your videos. Some great players in that tournament too.

Would have had a video or 2 up already but what I have planned I need to edit the videos on my laptop which currently has a cracked screen and I'm waiting on the replacement screen to arrive.

New screen arrived and wow it's even better than the original screen. So after attempting to create the video 3 seperate times yesterday I finally got the settings right for what I wanted to do.
