What is Up With All the Erros?

Every time a batter hits a grounder to first and I as the first baseman throws to second to start the double play his throws are always off. I seem to get two errors all the time even the infield error sliders on zero, what gives? Anyone else having this issue? I play with the A’s if that makes a difference.

Re: What is Up With All the Erros?

I dropped IF throwing errors to 4 and it helps a lot. Far too many silly thrown errors, mostly on routine double plays chances. I also lowered OF throw error to 1. Every errant throw was from a throw to the cut off man 99% of the time. And 99% of the time it never resulted in an extra base taken. Only looks silly to see it happen like once every game.

There was a time when they're weren't enough errors in this game so I personally like to leave them at default because it also feels fairly realistic (if you've been watching, there have been a ton of silly errors in MLB this year).

I just wish there were more fielding errors and less throwing. Hardly ever see fielding errors but tons of throwing at default. I have OF fielding errors at 6 and barely notice anything. Raising IF fielding errors to 6 creates a lot of mistakes, bobbles, etc but the game does not do a good job of scoring errors unless it is a slow grounder, routine of all routine groundballs. That's the biggest problem I think. Throwing errors at 4 is still good but definitely if you want more it's easy to do.

That’s where all my errors come from, routine double plays, it’s so frustrating

I play auto field/manual throw and I’ve seen this, but “everytime”, no way. Then....it sorta stopped. Not sure why.

Re: What is Up With All the Erros?

fielder errors & reaction, infield arm strength, fielder & baserunner speed,
I always play with those sliders set at 3 every year

also, one typo is the difference in the errorists winning

Re: What is Up With All the Erros?

Every day a new thread has me wondering if I'm playing the same game as others. I've got my error sliders all at 9 or 10 so that I can get closer to real errors. Even raised that high my team is ranked 2nd with a .991 fielding % through 60+ games.
