I'm very close to giving up on this game.

It looks amazing, it has ton's of depth.

It's just ridiculously difficult in my opinion.

I have the AI on 20% the lowest you can go in Moto3 class and I still cant crack the top ten and qualify in the back by a couple seconds.

Whatever it takes to run fast/competitive laps has escaped me in this version.

It's disappointing as I buy this game every year and have had a good amount of fun with past versions.

Not sure what I'm missing.

I was right where you are at Rich. I started in Moto 2 and have ai all the way down on easiest. I was in the same boat then found this page with setups. I am not affiliated in any way. The set ups and messing with the riding aids got me to where now I am sometimes up in the top 5-10, but in France for instance I am I think 23 in fp3. I hate that track. Anyway, don’t give up yet. Try the set ups these guys have. Sometimes I will switch what tires they say to use. The setups are for the Moto GP bikes but have worked well for me in the Moto 2 class.
