The upgrade is complete, but you've probably noticed the forums are only showing posts up to about April 8. Posts made after that are still in the process of being moved over, and that should take another week or two. Feel free to start a new thread.
The site might feel a little slow while work continues. Engineers are staying on it through the night to get things moving faster again. Thanks for your patience.
I won't ask for Christmas or birthday gifts if you subscribe to the Operation Sports Newsletter (Not Just Another Roster Update). I write it, and it hits your inbox every Friday morning (for freeeeeee).
I enjoy the gameplay but the course list at launch is underwhelming, bordering on unacceptable. I also find it pretty crazy that there's no type of career or season mode, and also not being able to change the difficulty of CPU opponents is a massive bummer, as they really suck and beating them is never a challenge.
I hope to see improvements in these areas, currently I'm having a hard time seeing myself still playing this game 6 months from now.

Had fun playing this with some buddies over the weekend. Sad to hear people say the single player content isn’t much to write home about… I was really hoping this game would live longer than Mario Tennis did.

I heard somewhere that they're at least adding more courses, hopefully for free. I mean who the hell would ever play that beginner tutorial course more than once? So that leaves you with what, 4 viable courses remaining? I mean I really do like the latter 3 courses on the list quite a bit, but it's not enough.
I'd love to see a super slick ice course, maybe a course set in the clouds or a "Rainbow Road" knock off from Mario Kart. I mean it's not hard to come up with creative themes given the vastness of Mario and Nintendo's history. This just feels lazy.

I just got this a few days ago, but haven't had a chance to play yet.
Haven't played a mario golf game, since the NES....hopefully it doesn't disappoint.
