Is preordering the game w franchise bonuses cheating?

It says if you pre order the game you get something like 100 extra staff points and a big boost in player development to start your franchise?

Anyone else not like this and not want this? I’d rather just play my franchise without all the extra boosts even if I preorder. They do the same thing in NBA 2K giving you too many initial VC to start with when I want to start from the bottom floor.

In the beta that was optional. You could turn it off if you want.

As above, If you don’t want it, you simply turn it off (it literally even says pre order bonus). One of the more positive things to see toggles being added.

Or set Coach Tree Development to slowest and that will make everything far more expensive if you want to use your pre-order bonus.

Then toggle to whatever setting you wanted to begin with.

Thing is, they gave us options.

Psshh, I bought the Dynasty Edition just for those 100 points & the 3 day early perks as dorky as that sounds. My view is- If my friends in the League want the points too, they'll have to pay up like me. We're very competitive in my League so starting off with 100 Staff Points should definitely help me get a good start.

Option A = leave everything on/default. Preorder = +3 free perks @ start
Option B = leave the bonus on, change progression to Slowest. Preorder value = 1/3 of a single perk @ start
Option C = turn it off. No preorder bonus


Since my angle is 99% about our 32-man league, I am very appreciative they gave us the option to toggle this off as a league setting. Removes all concerns I had. What people want to turn on in their solo franchises should be nobody else's concern.

Your post would have hit better if there wasn't literally an option to disable the bonuses.
