Hopefully the game is good and a continuing improvement over previous titles and not a scaled down experience gameplay wise to meet the limited capabilities of mobile devices. It will be interesting to see how this plays out and if going free to play is a viable strategy for other sports game to follow.*

The hope I had is quickly fading with each passing day. The little bits here and there aren't instilling confidence. Not talking about prices, no release dates, mentioning gameplay for consoles/PC then talking about 'rich lighting' and grass.

Getting really hard to care about this Franchise when they clearly don't.*

I'm just crossing my fingers that it turns out ok somehow, even though the trailer was super underwhelming.* Sounds like EA has gone all in on next gen already so I feel like it would be crazy to buy FIFA, considering I can't find a PS5 at or near MSRP.

Been a looooooong time since I didn't have a footy game in my lineup.

I think what pisses me off so much is how little information is actually coming from Konami. I think we have a lot of good posters on here (you being one of them!) that allows us to talk FIFA vs PES w/o it becoming childish but just look at how both teams handle the build-up to the release of a new game.

Beta's
Pitch Notes
Interviews with devs on EA's YT channel
etc...

Then look at Konami

Umm... the loadout.com ???

No offense to the folks over there at loadout but wtf Konami. This info should be coming right from Konami and they should be giving us little nuggets weekly.

I like '21's gameplay which is why I'm holding out hope but damn...it's hard to be a fan sometimes.

Yes! I'm a good poster! Lol

Yeah, I may not like a lot of what FIFA/EA is but like you said leading up to a release they at least make you interested and put out info.

Deep dives, pitch notes, blogs this is standard practice for most games at this point and Konami just refuse to do it. There are indie publishers and small studios making games that consistently keep they're players informed prior to and often during the life of a game.

I'm contemplating just buying PES '21 for PC so I can use mods along with OF since I'm sure the community will keep it going especially if eFootball is trash. Instesd I'm stuck waiting in limbo waiting for eFootball to make a move or even commit to a date on the "future".
