It still annoys me how a defender trailing a wide receiver's hip can jump across his back and pick the ball off on the opposite site of the wideout's body. Cost me a game already.

Is this just for Xbox or PS5 also?

The game on performance mode is so nice. Mahomes missed some throws but also made some to beat me in OT vs the Bucs defense. It was very realistic the throws he made and missed.

I played 3 play now games on All Pro and didn't switch a thing. Also I choose image quality setting over performance. Keep in mind the majority of these games were play now and using current exhibition schedule so there were a lot of non starters in most of the game

I don't see any difference in graphics from last year at all. If you're expecting to be blown away like MS Flight Sim then forget it.

3 Full games I didn't see a single penalty, not one.

QB's throw lots of inaccurate passes which is good at least the ones I played. Most of those came with pressure or being on the move. You will still see some head scratching throws though, Chase Keenum was running backwards at an angle and threw a 40 yard bomb. However I liked how throws were not all dimes.

For me Offense was a lot harder, just everything about it and I'm not sure why.

There are a lot of drops, if there was any traffic of contested catches the ball was hitting the ground 80% of the time.

Overall 99% of the animations / interactions looked good and accurate.

I'm not sure how I feel about momentum at this point, too early to say.

Players definitely feel different based on their skills. Trevor Lawerence was far more accurate then Justin Fields. Etienne was very hard to bring down just spinning off of hits and elusive. It was easy to feel the differences and use players strengths.

Both, if impressions are going to be segregated it will be into versions of the game rather than platform. Could make sense to pivot to a general impressions for all versions and a Dynamic Gameplay Discussion thread for current gen.

We'll see how things shake out during early access.

Could only watch about 5 minutes of action on my lunch break and my immediate reaction is...I miss Dolby Vision and need the Microsoft engineers to go ahead and drop that update. Will post game impressions tonight when I get home.

Okay was making sure it had Xbox Series X/S and no PS5 at first.
