Anyone starting CFM prior to Scouting update?

Im itching to start really bad. I know the scouting update is going to be pretty significant, but i keep getting the feeling we’re going to be sweating it out.

Anyone going to start and not look back?

I started a coach one for the trial using Play the Moments. Once game unlocks I’m going to continue it into second season playing full games. Then when scouting update comes out I will probably start over but I’ll see where I’m at at the time.

I'm on PC (Last Gen) and I can't find any confirmation last gen gets the update.

My plan right now is to start 1 franchise at release (assuming there’s no major bugs to franchise or gameplay after the day 1 patch), and then 1 franchise when the scouting update drops. I’ll save my main franchise for the year with the Jets for when the scouting update drops, and choose an NFC team now as a side franchise for the year.

I’m not at all into other modes like MUT, so don’t have anything else to do with Madden in the meantime. Keeping my hopes down and just assuming the scouting update will be closer to the end of September then the beginning.

If you’re a franchise only player and itching to get started, this is probably the best approach IMO. If you start your main franchise now, you know you’ll be tempted to restart when the scouting update drops.

Nope for me. In my old age I've become pretty patient for things like this which is, in my opinion, a foundational change to Franchise mode. 6 weeks won't be anything to me, and I want to experience these new core changes to the mode all together.

I'm going to start one when the game unlocks as a mess around and get used to things type of franchise. I haven't been able to decide if I want to be a coach or an owner so I can fire the head coach when I feel like it. So I'll use the time before the scouting update to figure that out.

Just running a test CFM with 4 teams to get a great feel for how it all works and by the time late September rolls around we hopefully will see the scouting update drop.

Then we do not look back.

I relocated the Texans and I'm doing a "Memphis Egyptians" franchise until the scouting update is out. I thought it would be fun to have another Houston team relocate to Tennessee. Also a good opportunity for a fun cross state rivalry with the Titans.

I haven't really messed with relocation in a couple years so I thought now would be a good time to give it a shot. I'm a couple games in and I'm having a lot of fun.
