2k will have authentic ball sounds in different arenas,crowd leaving games during blowouts, Authentic PA which im very excited about but for some reason 2k keep skipping the best part of the arena Atmosphere

As I said in the other thread. 2k took a BIG step getting the actual PA announcers but I doubt they could've gotten the crowd noise this year due to covid. Kinda hard to record a crowd if the stadiums aren't at full capacity. This gives me hope though that they MIGHT be finally moving to getting proper crowd noise and actual recording of organ music from each arena. The Live 10 crowd noise are actual recordings from a live game. I remember seeing a vid from EA on how they setup mics all over the stadium to record the crowd (which I can't find anymore)

In reality though....I suspect the next big thing for the future is to have a commentary crew for each venue since it's easier to get the guys on a booth and record.

How the ffff does an 11 year old Live game look nearly more immersive sim than a brand new 2K.

I played Live wayyyy back when. I always thought it had the right idea for sim players and understood what we want. They just lost the ball.

I was actually watching this clip yesterday of the sixers PA announcer and there's a clip where it left me wondering if it may have been a sneak peak into specific (authentic) crowd noice in 2K22.....but I'm not holding my breath lol. It would be pretty sweet though if we could go back to how crowd noise was 2 generations ago though (as ridiculous as that might sound).

The official PA trailer involves so much crowd interaction (i.e Jamal Murray's 1, 2, 3333 chant and others) it almost seems like there had to be at least some kind of boost in crowd atmosphere.

Why’s the conclusion that there won’t be when the PA announcer literally open up the possibility for a variety of new crowd sounds. For someone who can nitpick, I think the crowd authenticity is strange. The crowd should react to the game, the PA and do the chants that are unique. For the rest it’s fine, though improvements can be made, particularly standing up during crucial part of the 4th, OT and playoffs. At the same time be very quiet and tense.
