Donaldson or Champman

I’m trying to decide between trading for Josh Donaldson or Matt Champman. I play with the universal DH I just can’t makeup my mind any advice or opinions would be appreciated to help me make a decision.

Are you looking for them to play 3rd base everyday or just DH?

If you're looking for a fielder I'd say Matt Chapman hands down.

If only DH, then I think it depends on what you're wanting for your roster now and going forward. Chapman is younger so he provides the best possibility of being an asset to the club in years to come. But I would also want to see what their stats are for the season and see if one is possibly having a better season than the other at the plate.

Champman definitely will play an all world 3B is younger and makes less money. So I think in leaning this direction. Only Donaldson is above average at 3rd better overall hitter and would cost less because of age and the massive salary. As the Mets what do u think fairs deal would be for both guys.

This was the deal
Mets get:Matt Chapman and Sean Murphy

Oakland gets:Khalil Lee, David Peterson and Tomas Nido.
