So what's the verdict: FoF or Superstar mode?

Self explanatory. Been playing superstar mode for awhile with the FF/FI mod and have loved it, but there's a few drawbacks to it as well. Face of the franchise (Madden 20) seemed like a good idea that was poorly executed, then dry.

I personally don't care for all the story line stuff though I did play through most of FotF on M21 a couple months back. I just do a player cfm. But, to add something to it I:

1. sim year 1
2. edit a player in the draft class
3. sim to/through the draft to see where I land.
4. take over edited player on team that drafted him

CM, your experience sums up my thoughts from their FoF type modes the last few years. The concept is cool, but until they're willing to put enough resources in to deliver a mode that isn't severely hamstrung by bugs year after year it's just not worth it. The result is always a buggy mess that never gets patched and it overshadows whatever good ideas they had. One year I had Olinemen at Slot WR and 9 men on offense in the college games... this was in April, months and months after launch lol.


They're better off devoting these resources and money to making the player franchise better. Fifa did a good job of that this year. Maybe madden will follow suit and drop this cutscene bug filled mode.
