Defensive adjustments

Just curious, how do you folks manage defensive adjustments? Even just vs AI, you only get a second or two to make any adjustments before they snap the ball.

How the heck do people select their player and then adjust multiple things before the snap?

Yeah I'm having trouble with this too... Think you can turn off the accelerated play clock and it might give you more time

Not sure about XBOX but on PS5 I click down on the right stick R3 and it gives me plenty of time to make adjustments in fact it doesn't resume until I hit R3 or circle button.

H2H I can see how this gives u 3-5 secs then resumes.

* I know the adjustments are there but I never use them. To me game plays much smoother and I'm not at any advantage or disadvantage not using them.
