What happened to improve QB drafting logic?

In my offline franchise, the cardinals (who have Kyler locked up long term) had the no.3 pick in 23 and 24 and took QBs each time. So now they have Kyler backed up by two superstar top 5 picks. Ridiculous. I’ve never been less critical of madden than others but there’s no effort by EA

They’ve acknowledged that and said there “nothing” they can do to fix it this year. Will hopefully be fixed for 23 but it’s mind boggling how they fix and then break things constantly

Why is it such a difficult task to simply take the management AI that has been proven to work so well in the past and implement it into modern titles?

NFL Head Coach 09 ran on Madden 09's game engine. Management AI has been perfected. If they're gonna copy and paste their games each year they should at least use what everyone loved and what worked well.

I just don’t understand how the big add was draft scouting but they allowed the game to release with the logic for drafting the most important position to be so messed up.

Im sure the AI is "assuming" that since the team is so bad, that it needs a QB.

It has the right to assume that, but then im sure it doesnt factor in injuries, and solely goes based on OVR. The CPU knows who to draft and when, and may play dummy once in awhile, but come on...its a cpu

Swami had a reply a while back saying that it caused issues when they fixed it in 21 with a patch and that it would have to be coded in.
