Just win. This is a tough match up for us on D if the 9ers can establish the run. Deebo is insane, too.

      Just win.

I was hoping for the Eagles again, but 49ers it is!

It is what it is, but I don't get the Monday night game when there are just 2 games Saturday. ESPN could still do their multi-cast thing. Oh well, we get a Monday night game.

          Go Packers!

It should be a more competitive Eagles-Bucs game than the first time around. That was when Eagles were throwing the ball 70% of the time. If Sanders and Howard are healthy, they could run the ball. Bucs are banged up. Not having to worry about Godwin or AB will be a big difference, especially with Evans getting dinged up last game. Not really concerned with their run game. But, Gannon can't call that same passive defense like last time because Brady will easily complete over 80%
But, still Bucs over Eagles. I would say 28-20, where Eagles score a TD late to make it more competitive. I would love to steal a playoff game, but as long as we are competitive, it will bring optimism for next season. I wouldn't be upset with losing because we would end up three top 20 picks

Sounds like the Cards may get JJ Watt back as he’s been designated for return from IR

They’ll be without WR Deandre Hopkins for this week though.

Everyone is talking the Niners run game. Which is legit. I think it all
comes down to Jimmy and if Dallas can score early and force the
Niners to throw. If Jimmy only throws 20 times Dallas loses..

Funny how in the 90's Niners were a finesse team and Dallas was
this power rushing physical offense. Its flipped now.

I know the Packers don't play this weekend, but our injured players seem to be coming back at the opportune time.

I forgot all about this gentleman:

Apparently Packers OLB Whitney Mercilus isn’t done for the season. He’s practicing. He tore his bicep in Week 10. Now been designated to return from IR.

Z' Jaire, , Mercilus, Bak, Turner, Cobb and Meyers all returning, the offense and defense will be so much better.

...and all the other NFC teams in the playoffs are muttering, "Crap" under their breath.

I don't know how NFL teams can even put a squad on the field at this time of the year. Watching Hard Knocks in season gives you a great view of the grind and let's you almost feel that grind. Throw in the constant affects of Covid, you can see the mental and physical toll it takes and has taken.

Just a silly idea, but if you the best possible product on the field for an entire year were to be obtained, imagine if the NFL actually decreased the regular season schedule length, increased the amount of bye weeks, expanded rosters, then expanded the playoffs. I believe this would increase the odds of players staying a tad more healthier and put more emphasis on the high stakes pressure of win and advance than on the grind.

Silly idea, I know, but seeing all these teams so beat up and beat down doesn't make me excited, but dejected and sympathetic. All these teams, players and coaches are hanging by a thread to wring out as much money possible for the owners and sponsors. The price to pay I guess to bring in the big bucks!

Now we get to see the NFC this afternoon.

Bucs/Eagles should be a really good game, and there’s a chance for the upset here. This matchup was close when they were both different versions of themselves, and I think the gap has closed with injuries and revamped philosophy for each team. If the Eagles can get a couple turnovers off Brady and control the game with their rushing attack like they want, they’ll be set up. But just like NE last night, you get them down and not quite sure if Hurts, like Mac Jones, is at the stage of his career (or ever) where he can throw his team to a come from behind win. Bucs could get up early and cruise.

Similar in the 49ers/Cowboys matchup. Dallas is better. But will they live up to their talent, or can SF control the game with their multifaceted ground attack and stiffen up defensively? These are the 2/7 and 3/6 matchups but the margin for error for the high seed is low. Start slow and you’ll be watching the games with us next week.
                            NHL - Philadelphia Flyers
                            NFL - Buffalo Bills
                            MLB - Cincinnati Reds

Hoping Philly and San Fran can pull it off but I think both of those happening is unlikely.
