9 june huh? That's in a couple of weeks.


We've heard from the features, but it's been very quiet so far on this game. It seems like they've made peace with the fact that the release month is basically an open beta.


Looking forward to the new AI. I've played the series again over the last year after stopping for years, and it seems most races just plays out in two ways:


Early breakaway, which will hold if you are the favorite and don't ride.
Final breakaway during a stage-specific point with pretty much all the favorites.



Automated team AI also kind of sucks. They don't always do the best things. I feel like if you opt for "manager" mode, you want to manage. If I want to control a rider I'll do the BeAPro mode, or whatever it's named. Simming the races used to be laughable.


The hill stage flat sprints are also a joke. There's no real buildup to it and the positioning at the finish is almost random. Especially the hill sprint upwards. You can easily cheese it by just getting ahead a bit

I was actually pretty interested in this game.

Any insight on how you race?

The post above didn't paint a great picture, but still kind of a cool idea for a game.

The game has existed for decades. They just update it like FIFA.



You just give commands to your riders to either breakaway from the pack, sprint or relay or do nothing.



It's obviously very fun if you like the sport, but could've improved way more over the years.
