Was trying to move P Cole Wilcox from TB to Colorado for P Will Etheridge. Not in franchise, just editing my rosters. Wilcox doesn't appear in the player list to choose from. Do some players have no trade clauses? Is there a work around to get him off my roster before I begin franchise?

Also, can anyone explain potential rating to me? I have a guy who's pushing 90 OVR and has like a high 70's potential. Just curious how that rating really works?

Regarding your fist question. Wilcox is likely on the Single-A roster. Not sure why they don't show up in Player Movement but that is probably the reason.

If he's in single a move him up to aa, aaa or mlb then you can move him

yeah, I wanna say in Show 18 single a players quit showing up in the movement screen. super annoying
