Squad Size

I am new to FIFA and am having alot of fun playing. I really want to dive into Manager Career Mode. Is there a recommended size for your squads? I know you have Starters, Subs, and then Reserves. Seems like a lot of Reserves that never will play. Any suggestions or what works for you would be appreciated. Thanks!!

Depends what club and league. If you’re in the premier league and using a club like Man City or Liverpool etc I usually tend to have a larger club since you play so many games between the reg season, FA Cup, Champions League, community shield and other small domestic cups and tourneys. Sometimes I have 3 games during 1 week. Need to rotate them in/out.

Typically I have about 25-28 men. Enough for a back up and at every single spot on the pitch and then a couple younger guys and guys ready in case there are injuries.

So in the bigger leagues where you play more games does the fatigue in players carry over each game or week?

Carries over from every game & training. You can choose rest & recovery days to ease the effects of it, but if you're playing on a weekend and midweek I like to have a 2nd squad that plays the less important games.
