PS5 Online rated games (no voice chat?)

Sorry to make a new thread for this. Didn’t know where to put it ?

I’ve played over 100 online rated games on PS5 and not once have I heard anyone talk to me or say anything through the controller speaker ?

I’ve said many times “good game”, “nice pitch”, “your trash” LOL. But no one has ever responded.

Does it not work on PS5 ? And yes, I’ve turned cross play off and only play other PS5 users.

When I play 2k or madden I can’t get them to shut up……but the show is silent…
