    SFDL rules

    GENERAL

    Rosters: SimulationFootballOS
    Sliders: Custom All-Pro
Custom Playbooks: base playbooks plus 2 additional forms/sets while removing 2 forms/sets for offense and defense. base playbook pistol and run and shoot are banned.
    Quarter Length: 12 mins
    Accelerated Clock: Yes, 18 seconds
    Game Speed: Slow
    Defensive Graphics: None
Created coach : Yes, no active coach allowed

    GAMEPLAY

    * The user is not allowed to switch players while ball is in the air on offense or defense. You may not select the catch type. Wideouts will play to their style this way.

    * On defense you will control one player throughout the whole play. That means you cannot switch to another player to make the tackle. This rule is to make defenses use their playbooks and call plays to stop specific types of offensive styles.

    * On special teams you may switch once to get off the kicker. after that you must stay on that player for the duration of the play.

    * No manually moving players on defense. You must use man align etc. except for the player your are controlling can be moved if he is not blitzing or on the line. For instance a SS in the flat coverage can be moved into box to help cover the run. If you move a player u must stay on that player.

    * If you motion a player he must stay where u motioned him to. No motioning one way and then sending him back. You may not hike the ball until the guy in motion is set unless it is a designed motion play.

    * You may only hot route up to 2 players. Do NOT hot route your whole team. If you see a mismatch it is okay to audible to a play u think will beat the defense. No reason for multiple audibling. If you pick a play and hot route every wr that is excessive and won't be allowed.

    * You may audible a pass play to the other side, but you must let the defense get set before hiking..

    * You may only audible once at the line if you don't like the defense you see.

    * no manually moving players on defense you must use man align etc. except for the player your are controlling can be moved if he is not blitzing or on the line. For instance a ss in the flat coverage can be moved into box to help cover the run. If you move a player u must stay on that player.

    * No run commit

    * Back up hbs must receive at least 2 carries per 10 carries by your starting hb.

    * No goal line QB sneaks

    * FB dives are no longer allowed in goal line situations or situations where u have less than a yard to get.. you may use them at any other time.

    * Goal line play calling should only be called within the goal line.

    * Do not abuse QB wraps and read options.

    * Do not run constant outside runs mix it up with inside runs too.

    * No zig zag running, horizontal running to abuse pursuit angles. You may cut to hit running lanes.. Basically follow the running play.

*horizontal running and running backwards on stretch/toss/power runs to avoid pursuit is banned.. this also goes for the rest of the runs in the game do not cut out horizontally or backwards.. if you're running an inside play cut it to a hole do not immediately cut outside horizontal.. if you are running a toss/stretch/power you should be moving forward to the hole in the defense do not run horizontally or backwards to avoid pursuit!!!

    * Mix your play calling up on offense and defense do not abuse money plays.

    * Do not abuse screen passes and when you call screens the screen pass must go to the screen.

    * Do not immediately roll the pocket with the QB. If it is a designed roll out that's fine. If your under pressure you can roll out to avoid sacks.

    * Do not drop back more than 10 yards with the QB on pass plays.

    * play action on 3rd down and 6 or more is not allowed.

    * No quick snapping, you must allow the defense time to get set. At least 3 seconds must lapse after your qb is set.

    * Do not run the clock out until fourth quarter unless you are up big.

    * Do not run scores up on your opponent show respect to your fellow league members. If you are up big just run clock and punt or kick FG's. If the other team is still no huddling and trying to score u may run the offense.

    * If your playing CPU you must not be ahead by more than 35 points at any time.

    * Fourth down rules. going to be more lenient with 4th down rules this year.. if it makes sense to go for it then do so.. however if it become and issue where people get cheesy with it i will ban them from being used as needed like last year.

    * No huddle should only be used within 2 minutes of half. You may no huddle in the 4th quarter if you are down by 21 or more.

    * You may NOT sub in your RB to the FB position. WRs may NOT play in a HB position on any play formation.

    TRADES

    - Teams are allowed 2 in season trades and 1 additonal in the off season.

    - Picks for picks trades only do not count in the allowed trade limit.

    - Trades that are agreed on by both parties involved are to be posted in the "OS FORUM" thread in the proper format and will be voted on by the trade committee.

    - Once trade is posted on forums and both parties have agreed, neither party can change their mind and withdraw from trade.

    - There will be NO trades with a CPU team.

    - You cannot trade rookies or players on the first year of their contracts.

    - You are only allowed to have 2 1st round draft picks per year.. You may not trade a player to add another 1st and trade one off later to get to two.

    SCHEDULING GAMES

    - Super Simming is NOT allowed!

    - Teams will use the OS weekly scheduling thread to post their available times to play for each game. Your opponent must respond in the same thread within 24 hours or they will be put on auto pilot for that game. If you do not post available times in the scheduling thread it will not count as an attempt to schedule. Frequent non scheduling will result in removal from league.

    - All games scheduled for advance day MUST be posted on the OS weekly scheduling thread by 11 pm et on the previous day.

    - All games MUST be started 2 hours before on advance night.

    - Three consecutive auto pilots by a team will result in removal from the league unless discussed with the council beforehand.

    - Advance is every 72 hours in regular season.

    - Offseason schedules will be posted on OS Forum.

    - If you ever need help because of work or other issues to where u can't sign players contact an admin. We take care of resigning players, free agent bids, and we take draft boards and draft for you.. No reason anyone should ever miss out on a draft with this help that we offer to everyone.

    - You must broadcast all CPU and Playoff games via twitch, ustream or youtube. Remember to activation the archive option. It is recommended that you broadcast all your games.

    PUNISHMENT FOR MOST RULE VIOLATIONS

    - 1st offense is a warning.
    - 2nd offense is a 2 game suspension meaning your team will be put on auto for 2 games.
    - 3rd offense is removal from league.
    - We reserve the right to boot someone instantly if we deem necessary.
    - We also reserve the right to hand out a specific punishment depending on the broken rule.

    GAME DISCONNECTS

    - You must take a screenshot of the disconnect message and pm it to a council member for proof. A decision will be made depending on how and when the DC happened.

    - There are NO restarts versus CPU or autoed teams. See above if you get disconnected.

    - If you quit a user game, you will be removed from the league immediately.

    FREE AGENCY

-resignings for every team you're allowed to resign 5 guys and a franchise tag.. if you sign more than 5 u will have to release however many u over signed and take the cap hit. (This is to give free agency a realistic approach)

    - During the season, each team can sign 1 FA per week.

    - It is forbidden to release a player and sign him back on your roster.

    - Players can not be signed for more than 20% of what the player is asking. If you sign them for more than 20% your will be forced to release the player and eat the cap hit.

    - All players signed to a 3 year or longer deal must get a 20% bonus per year deal. If you don't give him a 20% bonus you will release the player and rework contract next year.

    - If contract is 2 years and under you don't have to give a bonus

    - You can only offer a player the amount of years he wants or minus one year

    COACH TRAITS
you're not allowed to upgrade any free agency traits for our coaches. This gives a very unrealistic free agency boost.

    ROSTER REQUIREMENTS

    - Must have 53 players on roster

    - We reserve the right to ask you to sign a position depending on your roster breakdown.

    - Maintain at least 2 qbs at all times

    - Do not play players out of position without approval

    - Do not switch players in offseason to different positions without approval
