So how is sound of the show going to work?

I have a few questions regarding the sound of the show.

Will there be a community upload and download like rosters/sliders/etc?
Is there a effort or going to be to make a complete set of sounds of the show for this?
What does a complete sound set look like? example: walk ups music, hecklers, stadium songs/jingles, etc?

I would be interested in this as well. MLB14 was my first "show" experience, so I really don't completely understand the mode. If it is how I picture it, it seems like it will be AWESOME and will add so much to the presentation! Unfortunately, I am not at all "tech-y" so I will probably struggle on how to utilize the feature to the fullest. The OS community will probably get tired of answering my questions and I apologize in advance...hehe

Previous versions it was not, and I suspect this year will work similarly to how it did before. Obviously SCEA is not going to allow uploading of copyrighted music for walk ups, so I figure it will be how it was before where you have to manually add and configure the songs for each player/situation.

I hope I am wrong and that they found a more efficient way to do it as the old way took ages to set up but once it was set up initially, you could kind of forget it. Either way I am really glad they added it back into the game and cannot wait for this years game and all the hard work the community puts into making this game so much more enjoyable than it already is.(im talking rosters + sounds and everything else.)

If it works as it did in the ps3 days you'll have to add them yourself via thumb drive. But it will be worth it. You could change all batter walk ups, which is cool. But my favorite was being able to add each teams music inbetween innings, and pregame. Getting the Yes network theme for the yanks, SNY for the Mets, etc, makes it so much more enjoyable.

I don't have the PS4 yet so forgive if this is a stupid question. Will I be able to use my current music and walk ups from my PS3 library? Does the PS4 work the same way where you pop a thumb drive into the USB slot and transfer the sounds to the hard drive?

I am just wondering...is the PS4 capable of saving mp3 files now or will it get updated when the game comes out. Obviously, I have made no attempt to check.

The only help others can give you is tell you what songs go where. It won't be like a roster file because of the obvious license issues.

It sounds like you can put a USB into the PS4 and load your music files into the game save data. From there you'll have to individually assign each file to each player/stadium.

Looking forward to this feature. Really adds to the atmosphere while playing.

Trying to use this time before game release to get some MP3s put together. Sure would be nice to have a list of all the situations or instances that will be available for sounds to be added. Obviously, walk ups, HR, home win, home loss, etc. are in there but I guess I'm looking for the whole list so I know what situations I should be looking for.

Is there such a list been made available? I watched the stream outlining the feature but couldn't catch many screenshots that captured them.

I recall years ago some guys posting old sound clips from the High Heat series...they inc vendors, hecklers, cheers, jeers...they were great...esp the vendors " ice cold beer...get your beer here!".....anyone know where those packs might be?...an old PS3 post??

So will packs be uploaded to OS (DJ Will's file I assume in which all the songs are included)? Or do they just tell us which songs and we have to go download them all and put them on ourself? I figure for obvious legal reasons that they may not be able to straight up just post a file of MP3's up here but I'm not big into the legal issues that come with that? So if somebody could go through the process from here on OS to actually installing the music on a drive and moving it into the game I'd really appreciate it. MLB 14 was my first experience of the Show since '09 on the PS2, it sounds like an amazing feature that will already add to amazing presentation (#ThanksKirby)
