Question about SOTS and PS4

Will the music files that I have in the Show16 still be available to import into 17 when I install the game. Are the music files somewhere on the PS4 hard drive, or somehow internally locked into 16?

Hope my question makes sense.

I dont think anyone as of now can tell you %100 but im assuming they are tied to 16. Last year i had to reinstall the game and all the music was gone and i had to reimport them.

I like to use the broadcast music of the home team to intro the game (NESN for Boston, SNY for the Mets, FoxSportsNet for several teams, etc)


Does anyone know if we'll be able to do this BUT somehow have it NOT play for MLB Network games in franchise?

We aren't sure if the MLB Network package will overwrite SOTS intro and innings music.

I have to believe it won’t override your SOTS files for that park.

A simple solution is to go into the park you are playing that series for (home or away) and figure out how many games you are going to use the MLB Network Presentation Package and simply toggle the intro music and between innings music to default.

Then when you are done reassign the proper SOTS files. I know it is kinda a pain....but it really takes a minute minute and half max.

I have a strong feeling this will be the case.

I am going to use the MLB Network Presentation Package on the schedule and not more than they have already defaulted the schedule too other than a marque pennant race game late in the season and the entire post season (if I get there in my various franchises) will be using the MLB Network package.

Any update on this? Does the MLB Network package override the SOTS?

I use the Fox Sports Net theme for the game intro, and it does indeed override the MLB Network music. Hope this is helpful info.
