Sounds Of The Show do not stick...

Uploaded, edited and assigned music to a few teams. Played a game and everything worked as expected. However, when I entered the game again, all of my assigned music was gone. The music was still on the list, it was just no longer attached to the teams...

Just to see what would happen, I assigned music to one team and played a game. I exited The Show '21 and when I re-entered the game, the music was 'unassigned' once again...

I submitted the issue to Sony...

The EXACT same thing has happened to me a couple of times now — it’s very frustrating because it takes a lot of time to edit and place the walk up songs, etc. I’m thinking it’s a PS4 issue — that’s what I have (PS4). Have you or anyone heard anything from Sony? Can you tell me how I can report the problem too? The more voices the better —

The EXACT same thing has happened to me a couple of times now — it’s very frustrating because it takes a lot of time to edit and place the walk up songs, etc. I’m thinking it’s a PS4 issue — that’s what I have (PS4). Is been going on since the 16th hopefully they fix it with the next update they do ! Also gets imported over on the Ps5 makes no sense how is on PS4 but not the ps5 .

Was going to buy today for ps4 since that’s the only one with SOTS but now will wait until they fix this bug pretty disappointing maybe I should stick with 20

Man, this what I'm going through, also reported it. I've heard no fixes about it. I've never had this issue with any of my earlier versions. Chants & Yells stay attached, just the music files reset. They aren't deleted but I have to re edit and assign each one again. All my time wasted doing all the teams.... yes, I set all team files Talk about frustration.

I have had an issue when creating the three starting points for songs in the editor. Partway through, no music plays. When I try to preview audio, it switches to the next menu music track.

I can see the waveforms during editing, and can set each starring point. However, in game this translates to no audio after assigning.

Anyone find similar issues?

I am hoping they are working on this and trying to identify the issue. I'm playing Ps4 game on Ps5 and had no issues the first 3 days with my sounds and now all of a sudden last night I go to play and everything is gone and it wouldnt even download again off my usb drive. Very frustrating because it worked fine the first three days.

But they say they listen to us. Cant even respond or post saying they are working on it.

I already know the bug issue of the assigned music to the players, team innings & all of that once you start the game again, it’s all gone and the boxes are unchecked. I’m going to wait until that’s hopefully fixed. What i’m having right now is importing my songs. I imported my songs today and for the most part, I got almost all of them in successfully but 40 songs left that once it finishes importing, a message appears and it says that it’s either not supported or it’s corrupted. And this is where I got really frustrated.

These are the same songs that i’ve been importing year after year and a few of them are new from last year and it imported just fine on MLB 20 the show last year so I don’t get this. Heck, I even tried to delete a couple of those songs & copy them from my iTunes and convert them to mp3 again just for it to supported in the game. I tried importing a couple of the same songs again by converting them again along with my other 38 even though those 38 aren’t going to get imported anyways since it’s going to show the same darn message but i’m forced to because they’ve yet to be successfully imported from my usb. So, anyways about those two songs...after the unsuccessful import, it didn’t work. Ugh, my God. This is ridiculous, man. Please tell me, i’m not the only one that’s experiencing this. This can’t be a supported/corrupted issue because like I said, i’ve successfully imported these songs in each of the past MLB the show games!

I’m in the same boat as you my friend. I can’t import any of the songs I originally had. So darn frustrating

Crap, i’m so sorry to hear that buddy. I was lucky my I could only import 987 out of my 1027 songs. Ugh, I really hope this is just another SOTS bug.

Wow that’s a lot. Lucky for you at least you have something. I’ve only got about 35 but it’s just for my team. I might try to delete off my usb drive and then re load. I’m trying whatever is possible.
