NBA Inks Deal with Video Game Companies

NBA.com has the scoop.
"The National Basketball Association today announced new non-exclusive licensing agreements with Electronic Arts Inc. (NASDAQ: ERTS), Take-Two Interactive Software, Inc. (NASDAQ: TTWO), Sony Computer Entertainment America, Midway Games Inc. (NYSE: MWY) and Atari (NASDAQ: ATAR) to continue to develop, publish and distribute NBA video games."

Kudos to the NBA for not making this deal exclusive to just one gaming company.

No Ubisoft, I have been hoping for a return of Inside Drive ever since they bought the MS licenses

Well .... if the deal is non-exclusive, Ubisoft can get a deal later. They probably just weren't ready to ink anything yet.

Ubisoft probably isn't interested in the NBA deal. Remember, they are making an AND1 basketball game.
