Modojo Reviews (PSP)

Modojo has posted the following reviews:
  • ATV Offroad Fury: Blazin' Trails (3/5)
"Unfortunately, ATV Blazin' Trails isn't a must buy PSP launch title. That's not to say that you won't have some fun with it because its many game modes/options as well as its online play make it a somewhat enjoyable experience. However, its overall lack of polish keeps it in the junior leagues of videogames, and it somewhat mars Sony's otherwise great PSP launch lineup."
  • NBA (2/5)
"To its credit, NBA 2005 is playable, and if you're just messing around with a friend I'm sure you'll have some level of fun, but I just plain think it's one of the few bad PSP launch games. It's an embarrassment to the sport of basketball as portrayed by videogames, a pick-up game between ten players who have broken legs and are trying to walk on them. I'm disappointed that Sony and 989 would release such a product for what should be a sensational console launch. If NBA represented the actual National Basketball Association, I'd pray for a lock out."
  • Wipeout Pure (4/5)
"Wipeout Pure is much more than just a racer. It's a state of mind, a marvelous sci-fi excursion into another realm that's so incredibly detailed that it's difficult to leave. If you're a fan of the series you'll love what Sony's done, and if you're new to it then prepare to be sucked in. Just like Namco's Ridge Racers, Wipeout Pure is another shining example of why owning a PSP is one of the best decisions that you'll make all year."
