PSX Extreme Reviews (PS2, PSP)

PSX Extreme has posted the following reviews:
  • MVP Baseball 2005 (PS2 - 8.8/10)
"MVP Baseball 2005 is the best-playing baseball game available this year, although its presentation is the weakest. There’s a lot to like about this game, including the accessible gameplay, deep dynasty modes, and addictive minigames."
  • Wipeout Pure (PSP - 8.3/10)
"While the game doesn't quite play like XL, as some have said it will, it still stands on its own in the series as a fantastic title, and arguably the second best entry of the series."
  • Tony Hawk's Underground 2 Remix (PSP - 7.9/10)
"THUG2 Remix is the best handheld conversion the franchise has ever seen, as it manages to retain the fundamental basics that make the Tony Hawk series so well received year in and year out. If you're a fan of the series, or you'd like to get back into the series, this is the title to pick up for your PSP."
  • Need for Speed Underground: Rivals (Import) (PSP - 7.9/10)
"Even though the soundtrack is practically worthless, Rivals still manages to provide a good time. It's a nice game to have in your PSP and it's a worthy addition to the Underground lineup."
  • Ridge Racers (Import) (PSP - 8.3/10)
"Ridge Racers isn't a particularly deep game, but it's easily the best handheld racer ever. Will people being saying that this time next year? Probably not, but as of right now the gorgeous graphics and fun gameplay make it the launch game to own."
