They need true gang tackling too.
I agree with you, I want it to be a whole lot better, but at least make it fun to play, just didn't enjoy it as much last year.

Gimmicks???

Every year I see people in the Football Forums clamouring for some type of "line of sight" addition to the titles. Now they try one and it's a gimmick????

Why is it that some people deride any new features in Madden as "gimmicks", but those same people are the first to praise VC's new features as "innovative"?

If EA had annouced that everyone who bought the game would get a free "NFL cheerleaders gone wild" dvd, some people would still find a reason to complain about it.

Sounds intriguing. I'd be interested to see this in a video, and see how it looks.

Because Ea is the devil and Vc is the messiah. If this stops players from facing the wrong direction, and then throwing passes I am for it. If it causes bad qb's to play badly I am for it.

Re: Vision Passing Headlines New Madden NFL 2006 Features

so I guess the become a legend is a 4-year mode on NCAA (possible shorter if you are real good). I'll try it out. I haven't bought Madden in 3 years, if I like this mode I might have to get it this year to continue my guy's career.

I think I will still spend most of my time in dynasty mode on NCAA though.

I like the vision concept. Sort of reminds me of ESPN 2K5 "FPF" qb progressions. For those who've played the 1st person football in qb progression mode will identify with QB vision. It also reminds me of "line of sight i.e. cone; 989 MLB 2006 attributes when it comes to fielding.

im wondering how it will be controlled, especially with scrambling. As for ncaa, i am happy we finally get mini games! I wonder if the become a legend mode means you only control 1 player on the field.
