Has EA Lost the English Premiership Exclusive License for FIFA?

3DAvenue has the article.
"Konami has today released new screens as well as announced Thierry Henry as the face of PES 5. However the more interesting aspect is these screens seem to feature fully licensed Arsenal kits and Premiership logos meaning that EA may have relinquished their EPL exclusive license. This would not surprise us considering competition laws in the European Union and would surely send shivers down EA UK's spines as that is a very big license to lose. The EA 2006 FIFA site is currently not up so we can't check any license changes."

"relinquished their EPL exclusive license"...

just their 'EXCLUSIVE' premiership liscense, or their Premiership license altogether?

great news for Winning Eleven fans and for Worldwide Soccer Manager fans. Now maybe we won't have to download league packs to get kits. HOpefully they bring WWSM back to the states again

This is great news. WE9 hopefully will have their correct names right out of the box. Sounds good to me!
