1st off OS has looked into this issue and this is the only solution that worked instantly as it's an issue not found on their end nor users end but seems to be on the ISP's end.
Not on users end means no spam filters on and etc.
Ok here we go!
1st get a Gmail account if you don't already have one.
2nd once you have Gmail set up in Settings choose Forwarding and POP/IMAP and in Forwarding: choose Forward a copy of incoming mail to (Type in your Comcast address in blank space) then click Save Changes and your done that's it and you'll now recieve notifications on your Comcast account.
