      Or click the postcard icon and copy-and-paste the image url into the popup box if you're posting an image from the internet.

        This made me think of a question: when people actually upload an image instead of just using the [img] tags, why does it post it twice?

              I don't think I've ever typed the IMG tags, I just click the "insert image" icon and paste the copied link.

                  I don't get one if I just hit quick reply but there is a workaround.

                  If you reply to any previous post in the thread that will bring up the box with the paperclip. You can delete the entire post you attempted to quote so that you don't actually reply to it but create a new one.

                    You can also just hit the "Post Reply" button on the left side and start with a clean slate. Here's a pic with paper clip showing.

                      Yes, that is easier than the workaround I use (but I rarely post pictures).
