Yeah, EA's constant connection means it gets cut off whenever it goes idle, and then depending on the game, it may or may not come back up. It also means it can get more confused when accounts are mixed.

For whatever reason, NHL gets it perfect. I can quickly resume, see the read the red message, click on my season, and it just connects. Madden usually locks up and you have to restart the entire game, making quick resume pointless. The Golf game is pretty good about reconnecting with one click.

But SMB3 has always had quick resume issues, even before it was for multiple games on XB1. I think combining SMB with EA was only going to complicate that. More games are starting to get better at this, but sports games have generally lagged well behind.

I wish Xbox had a setting to not allow games to use quick resume, so I could just add Madden and NBA2K to the list, as well as SMB4.

The way it only looks for a split second makes me wonder if it's not working right on my console.
