The future of this series?

Anyone know? I havent really come across any info fo the future of this awesome little game. Its a niche for sure but there is so much potential, especially if they are looking into a deep franchise mode over multiple seasons with customization, retirements, new playes, etc. maybe even aome sort of stadium editor, etc.

Re: The future of this series?

Wonder what the odds are that these guys can get an MLB License?

I’m not yo to snuff on all that or if it’s possible. But man, if we could get that plus still have the ability to make custom teams, leagues, etc.

Re: The future of this series?

From what I've read I think Metalhead is moving onto a different type of game (possibly a different sport) for their next game. It's such a small studio I don't think it could support the yearly MLB licensed game requirement. It would be great if they could further expand SMB2, but my guess is the most we'll get is more DLC of new stadiums and customization packs.

Please let it be hockey.

I’m good without the MLB license. This is a different flavour and one I enjoy.
If I had one wish, it would be a Little League mode where your roster overturns every two years and you need to have tryouts, deal with parents and work your way to the LLWS.
