question about using stars

i am thinking of buying the game. i want to know, is there like a way to use, for example, nadal and play like a season mode with him?

I want this feature as well, more than you know. As I've said before, it just doesn't make sense. It's like saying you can't take a team in season or association mode in NBA 2K11 unless you are playing "My Player" and have your guy on that team. I was a huge fan of Andre Agassi & I would love to play as him but I'm regulated to playing meaningless exhibition games as him. 2k aims for realism, & I don't play real tennis--so let me use someone who does. I want to play a season, but I'm not interested in playing as myself. If 2k released a patch to allow this, this game would rival NBA 2K11 & College Hoops 2K8 as the best sports games in my opinion.
